First-time visitor

Plan your first Sunday.

No surprises. Here's everything you want to know before you walk in — times, parking, what happens with your kids, and what to wear. Takes three minutes.

Step 1 of 3

Step 2 of 3

Your Sunday, in order.

FH Mandela Bay · 09h00 service. You'll be out by 10h30 — brunch is still on the table.

08h40

Walk in

Free parking on-site. Someone at the door will greet you — say hi, grab a lanyard if you'd like one. Coffee from Red Band is on the way in.

08h55

Drop the kids

FH Kids check-in opens 20 minutes before. Grade R–5 have their own space; toddlers have a parents' room. SMS alerts if they need you.

09h00

Service starts

About 20 minutes of worship, a ~30-min practical teaching from the series we're on, 10 mins of prayer/communion. No ask for money if you're new.

10h30

Hang around (or don't)

We'd love to meet you. If you want to say hi there's usually coffee and tea in the foyer. If not — zero pressure, we'll see you next week.

A few questions

Everything else.

What should I wear?

Honestly — whatever you'd wear to brunch. You'll see suits and you'll see slops. We care about your face being there; we care less about your shoes. Jeans are the unofficial uniform.

Is there parking?

Yes — on-site at Mandela Bay and George, street parking at Kariega. Parking attendants are around from 08h30. If anyone looks lost they'll wave you in the right direction.

What happens to my kids?

FH Kids runs alongside every Sunday service. Ages 0–11 months have a Parents' Lounge (so you can keep them with you); 1–3 year olds have a toddler room with supervised play; Grade R–5 have age-appropriate teaching and games. Every volunteer is background-checked.

Do I have to give money?

No. There's an offering during the service but it's always framed as "for those who call this home" — if you're new or visiting, sit it out with zero awkwardness.

I'm not religious — is that OK?

Completely. A lot of the people in our service on any given Sunday are somewhere in the middle of figuring it out. We don't expect you to believe anything before you walk in. Come as you are; ask any question; we'll try to answer honestly.

Can I come in a wheelchair / with a walker?

Yes. All three campuses are step-free. Mandela Bay has accessible bathrooms and reserved front-row seating — just message us on the form below and we'll make sure someone meets you at the door.

Is the service available online?

Yes — watch.fathershousesa.org streams Sunday 09h00 live, ad-free. Replay goes up within 30 minutes of the service ending.
